| SEATTLE, Wash – July 7th, 2021— Opening this October, Climate Pledge Arena will be the most exciting, sustainable, and beautiful arena in the world. Within the inaugural year, the arena will experience the very first puck drop of the Seattle Kraken, the return home of the Seattle Storm, and a golden era of live music including Eric Church, Billie Eilish, Andrea Bocelli, Bad Bunny, The Weeknd – and so many more. All those passionate about events are invited to Fisher Pavilion at Seattle Center this July 29-31. This arena team will be a part of Seattle sports and entertainment history and help deliver an unparalleled experience for every fan and guest who comes under the historic roof. The arena will employ over 1,800 part-time teammates to come bring the brand-new arena to life. All candidates interested in working at the over 200+ games, concerts and other special events are encouraged to apply at climatepledgearena.com/jobs. Candidates will be directed to submit an application and to RSVP for an interview time-slot at the hiring fair. The first 700 applicants to RSVP for the hiring fair will receive a Kraken branded hat! Hats will be available for pick-up after a completed interview. |

Seattle Fire Department Vaccine Pop Up Clinic
The Seattle Fire Department (SFD) and Climate Pledge Arena are partnering to host a vaccination clinic for those who still need their COVID-19 vaccine!
SFD will administer Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, and Pfizer at these clinics, and you can get your first OR second dose.
If you’re getting your second dose, you’ll need to show proof of vaccination. If you get your first dose of Pfizer or Moderna, SFD will help you schedule your second dose on-site. You can find more information on the City’s vaccination effort here.
Here are the Vaccine Pop-Up Clinic details:
- When: July 29, 30, and 31, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Where: Fisher Pavilion at Seattle Center, 305 Harrison St, Seattle, WA 98109
- Vaccine: Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, and Pfizer; first OR second dose
PLEASE NOTE: Depending on demand, Seattle Fire may not be able to staff the July 30 and 31 events. We HIGHLY encourage you to seek your vaccine at the July 29 clinic, to guarantee SFD will be on-site.
